Here at Good Neighbour we're delighted to welcome back Abi Schade from Alliance Wine. On Wednesday the 13th November she'll be taking us on a tour of some of the most interesting wines from Islands all over the world.

She'll run through with us how unique weather conditions and terroir effect the wine and some of the unique flavours you can experience in these very special regions.

Alliance is a leading wine importer in the UK, working with some of the best boutique and high end wineries in the world. On the evening we will be trying wines from the likes of Corsica, New Zealand, Sardina, Sicily & the Greek Islands.

We’re delighted to welcome Kadija Kamara’s curated evening of stripped live music.

Bumi Thomas is a contemporary British Nigerian singer-songwriter whose ethereal voice stokes the soul transcendentally. Her acoustic and evocative style is inspired by her multicultural heritage expressed visually and sonically. To enjoy Bumi's music is to experience a cinematic sound that combines jazz, high-life rhythms, palmwine grooves, reggae and blues, infused with folk and delivered with soul. Her musicality is rich in texture, stimulating lyrics, haunting melodies and raw emotion.

Thomas has shared the stage with the likes of  Melody Gardot, Shingai Shoniwa of the Noisettes, Asa, Keziah Jones, Tony Allen, Ginger Baker, Tu Face, Sona Jorbarteh, Tunde Jegede, Nneka and Laura Mvula, building a fan base as diverse as her music.

Her Debut EP 'Feather Pearl' was released in 2014. She is currently working on a follow up EP titled 'Broken Silence' scheduled for release in Summer 2019.

Louise Golbey is an established artist on the live music scene of London and beyond. She has played at Glastonbury (BBC Introducing), Isle of Wight Festival, The Big Festival, Cornbury and CarFest, recorded at Maida Vale for the BBC and supported and shared the stage with many established artists including Ed Sheeran (who is also in one of her music videos), Katy B, Paloma Faith, George Benson (Kenwood House), Roberta Flack, En Vogue (The Indigo2), Roy Ayers, Omar and Heatwave at The Jazz Cafe and most recently Eric Benet at the Hideaway.

She has worked on tracks with Example and Newham Generals (signed to Dizzie Rascal's Dirtee Stank label)

She has released several EP's, singles and an album and has been getting a lot of support from DJs on BBC 1 Xtra, 6 Music, Jazz FM, Mi Soul, Radio 2 and radio stations across Europe.  Louise was also November's Cafe Nero Artist of The Month.

Sophie Crawford is a North London based folk singer offering fresh and exciting interpretations of traditional songs accompanying herself on accordion, dulcimer and ukulele.

Rose Ford is a singer/songwriter from Camberwell. The daughter of musicians, Rose began learning instruments at an early age and now plays guitar, clarinet, banjo and accordion. Rose’s intimate writing style is of the alternative folk genre and her lyrics reference mythology, poetry and fiction.

Lila Tristram’s songs are delicate and compelling. Addressing themes of humanity, femininity, nature and politics, her style makes use of rich chords as a platform for her warm and sensitive voice.
